About Me.

I'm Réka Halász ( R eː k ɒ  H ɒ l aː s ),

a UX / UI designer based in Hungary.

Fun fact: 'halász' means 'fisher' in Hungarian.

Originally graduated as a graphic designer but decided to change careers to dental technology. Both professions challenged me to develop problem solving skills while being creative and artistic at the same time. But as we know, life happens, and design eventually found me again in a very unexpected but organic way through my last dental tech job.
I can say that throughout the years I aquired a diverse skillset from making dentures by hand or with 3D CAD/CAM technology, through animating to drawing user flows and managing design systems. There is always something new to learn!

In my freetime I enjoy painting, visiting galleries, travelling, going to concerts and festivals or watching plays at the theatre.
